 How is it Done?

Real-time Gas Monitoring.
Since 2003 I had different solutions to measure the energy consumption in the Bwired house. In 2012 I finally start using the Iskra MT382 Smartmeter making it all much more easier and precise.
The smartmeter has a so called P1 output connector which can be very easily connected to your home automation system. The P1 output provides every 10 seconds the real-time counters for Gas and Stroom usage.
Also the revenues of my Solar panels are measured with the Iskra smart-meter. The Gas meter (left image) is connected to the Iskra meter, downside is that the Gas meter is updating the Gas counter only once every hour. Check my blog for more information.
